Rinascimento

Renaissance, a theme I did not seek out, but one that found me. It began with the desire to explore a period in the history of art, yet along the creative process the inspiration turned into something more personal.

I came to understand that inspiration does not come from an image, but from an emotion. From the stories of the women in my life and from their beauty. This emotion grew stronger in Florence, before the works of the Renaissance and through the creative freedom I felt there.

I chose the women in my life to shape the central figure of the collection, a symbol of rebirth. I saw their power to rebuild themselves, to bloom again, at their own pace. I saw them sculpted by time and experience, and their beauty lies in the imperfections that define their stories.

Every piece carries a part of this story. The flowers and the colour palette speak of spring and a new beginning, while the silhouettes and volumes subtly echo the influence of Renaissance sculpture. The transparencies and the fluidity of the fabrics suggest femininity without exposing it.

This collection is not an interpretation of the Renaissance, it is a reinterpretation of the feeling I lived in front of it, of the beauty, the strength and the fragility that coexist in a woman.
